Wedding Workouts: Core Fusion at Exhale Spa (Day 2)

filed under: Beauty
Corefusoion Yesterday's class was taught by Fred Devito (he's one of the creators of Core Fusion). It was upbeat, fun and he really made me push myself. Suprisingly, I'm not as sore today as I was going into the class.

Plus, I think my abs are already looking a little leaner. Heading back tonight for more torture.

Wedding Workouts: Core Fusion at Exhale Spa (Day 1)

Core_large So, my good friend over at Vera Wang keeps telling me about these "Core Fusion" classes and how they are responsible for her "chiseled" physique. So, with my best friend's wedding coming up (March 27th), I figured it was time to hit the gym. And, of course, report whether this workout is worth the hurt.

I took my first class this morning. For someone who is completely out of shape, I actually managed to do most of the stretches. But you should know that:
1) That is not my body (I wish!) and
2) I'm so sore that it hurts to type this blog post

Stay tuned for my daily workout reports (and pictures)!

What's Hot Now: New Bridesmaid Dresses by Cynthia Rowley

Cynthia

Check out this sneak peak at two bridesmaids dresses that Cynthia Rowley is debuting with The Dessy Group. I'm told that the designer (who's known for flirty tulle ready-to-wear looks, wants to "bring a chic sensibility to bridesmaid dresses," and I can't wait to see if it's true (and for just $175-$220!)

Would you dress your maids in Cynthia Rowley?

Steal This Style: Oscar Worthy Eyebrows for your Wedding

Brows

Ever since high school I've been plucking, waxing and threading my brows--- anything to avoid a unibrow or out-of-place hair. So, when I finally decided to get my eyebrows shaped to frame my face (and yes, it really makes a difference) I was told that I had to let the plucked hairs grow in.

Here's the problem: I've been plucking for so long that my brows have stopped growing in.

And now, the 3-step solution:

Step 1: Grow Back Brows
The latest lash-growing products will work on over-plucked brows too! I love LashFood Natural Eyelash Conditioner. It's got natural, safe ingredients.

Step 2: Snag a Shaping Kit
Try Anastasia Beverly Hills 7 Element All in One Brow Kit which has all the essentials for creating the perfect look---which I found out, is all about arch.

Step 3: Look like a Celebrity
Okay, not really a step, but Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Lopez are definitely worthy of a shout out!

Nailpolish
The one must-do bridal duty is to keep your nails looking amazing (how else will your friends admire your bling?). I'm loving these aisle-perfect polishes from Jessica Cosmetics. The names simply scream "I'm getting married."

Wouldn't you wear a polish called "kiss the bride" or "honeymoon hideaway"

Groomsmen Gift Giving the guys in your party this silver plated pocket-watch is about the only way to guarantee they'll show up to the ceremony on time.

Bridesmaid Gift Swarovski and Disney have paired up to make these adorable Alice in Wonderland jewels. This Key Pendant is magical and mysterious, but still modern and completely wearable.

Bridal Headpiece Channel your inner Alice with this beautiful floppy-bow headband

Wedding Clutch Now here's a bag the Queen of Hearts would approve of. Why "paint the roses red" when you can have this crystal-studded clutch

Registry Item Have your own tea party with this stackable espresso set.
